2014 Roehampton and Putney Heath Ward results are in – what could this mean for the Alton regeneration consultation?
What happened in the 2014 Council elections?
Well, the May 2014 local Council results highlighted that the Conservatives were not flavour of the month in the Roehampton and Putney Heath Ward. Of the three Councillors for the ward, two were Conservatives and now they are all Labour. The two links below provide some information about what happened.

What does this mean for the residents of Roehampton?
This means that Labour should now be in a better position to protect the interests of the Roehampton residents. In their previous messages that came out just before the election, they mentioned the following;

Now that Roehampton has an all Labour ward this should make it easy to challenge the current ‘consultation’. Now the question is, “What will they do?”
Labour has yet to highlight what they will do. They’ve highlighted what the Conservatives have done wrong, now it’s their turn to tell us what they will do?
