Well, the weather was a mixed bag though at least for a good portion of the day the weather was decent. At the Roehampton Spills tent, the above picture jumped out!
What’s your thoughts on this?
Another picture that stood out was the below.
The Alton Regeneration Watch (ARW) table was a hive of activity collecting signatures in support of the listing application for Allbrook House and the Library, as well as showing an alternative plan to demolishing these buildings.
It may have been missed though did anyone see a Team Roehampton table? They were seen getting interviews with various groups, though for some reason the ARW was not included? If Team Roehampton did not have a table, then why not? This was a suggestion at a Roehampton Forum meeting……..
It is a shame though the various groups in Roehampton are not very well joined up. The week before, on the Saturday 15th August, on the very same Bull Green, there was an event held by another local group that was sadly unaware of the Roehampton Festival.
Still, even with this, it was a great day for Roehampton, especially for the Alton Estate and may this continue to be annual event.
