Roehampton News – Putney Labour Party latest edition?

201604 Roe News

Can readers please let us know whether you received the Putney Labour Party Roehampton News this and notice it was dated October/November 2015?

Two points standout.

Point 1: The timeline, is it 5 years or 10 years?

There is a comment that states “and redevelopment may take 5 years”. If that’s the case, why did the Council state that it could take up to ten years in the “The Alton Regeneration Timeline” in the Alton Area Regeneration News February 2016 provided a ten year timeline outlined below.

Timeline

Point 2: Will the Council looks after existing residents?

In the Putney Labour leaflet it states “The Council will also make sure there is adequate education and health care provision to care for the larger community which will result from the regeneration”.

One may think, if that’s the case, why is only at the planning stage we will likely see this addressed?

Have a read of recent (18th April 2016) answers that were received through a Freedom of Information request. Ask yourself, does this fill you with confidence?
