University responds to queries about anti-social behaviour

Given the recent putneysw15 articles concerning the anti-social behavior being caused students, the following questions were put to Roehampton University;

 “There have been a number of complaints over the past few years regarding anti-social behaviour from students attending Roehampton University. There have been two recent cases both highlighted within the PutneySW15 Forum article ‘Noisy Roehampton students’ –

 From this can the University please provide answers to the following questions –

  1. Does the University maintain records of anti social behaviour as the result of students as notified by residents?
  2. If not, what is the reason for not doing this?
  3. If so, please provide the figures that are maintained for 2016, 2015 and 2014.
  4. What are the best contact details for the University should residents wish to report anti social behaviour, both during office hours and our of office hours?”

 Surprisingly, at the moment “The University does not currently maintain a central record of complaints of this nature” however it “will therefore look to implement a central records of complaints so we are able to respond to requests for information more effectively”.
