How to use Facebook to track issues or concerns

Are you tired of going over the same issue time and again with the Council?

Or are you tired of tracking progress of an issue or concern with the Council?

Well, one way to try and assist with this challenge is to create a Facebook album. With each photo a story can be added to it. The following example relates to something with which the Kimpton House Residents Association (KHRA) has spent a lot of time on, this being resolving the issue of car parking in the road leading to the entrance.

Have a look at the photos and read the story with each, which is emailed to the Council when required. It shouldn’t be this difficult should it?

Demolition zone property sale prices, how much?

A question raised at the Roehampton Partnership on 26 September 2018 was how much the sale price of properties in the regeneration area. The response from the Council was that this was information which could not be provided.

Not sure of the specific reasons for the sale prices not being given though Zoopla can assist.

Late notice for Kimpton House…again?

At the Western Area Housing Pane (WAHP) of 24 September 2018, communication was again mentioned by some Residents Associations as needing improving. From the WAHP 17 July 2018, when last minute communication was mentioned, the Council has been minuted as stating that it “undertook to look into the concerns raised but that a period of one week’s notice should routinely be provided”.

Again, another situation of where this one week notice has not been adhered to and this building has the Kimpton House Residents Association (KHRA);

  • 21/9/18 – letter dated
  • 24/9/18 – hand delivered at 10:07 (according to one resident)
  • 27/9/18 and 28/9/18 – works requiring water to be switched off

Other examples since this WAHP of 17 July 2018 are;

The poor communication regarding bats –

Two lots of contractor works on Hyacinth Road whereby contractors used car parks for leaving materials and this area has the Stoughton Close/Greatham Walk/Ryefield Path Residents Association (SCGWRPRA);
