Can you believe it, there have been newsletters regarding the Alton Estate regeneration for circa six years, yes, six years………….can you believe it?!

The latest version is dated May 2019 yet one resident collected their copy from the gym on the morning of 31st May only to receive it through the letter box not long after.

Brief summary of what’s within it

The following is a very brief summary of what is featured within it though by no means refers to everything which is within it.

  • New children and families centre at Portswood Place
  • Improving youth services
  • Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2019
  • Roehampton Youth Club working with YoungSpoilers
  • Roehampton Festival 2019….
  • Roehampton Parish Hall now used for the Western Area Housing Office
  • The Feel Good Bakery
  • Planning application update
  • New homes at Fontley Way (and well, it’s wondered how much residents views were heard regarding that)
  • Jobs and training
