Where for art thou Medfield Street bench?

Oh where, oh where did the Medfield Street bench go? In front of 5 Medfield Street, SW15 4JY, there is a green security fence. Some of you may remember when the fence did not go all the way across the front of the building (in the area which has been circled in red in the photo above taken 13th March 2016).

Now, you might be aware that the security fence stretches further across the building and that there bench that was there is no longer there. The following photo was taken on 27th July 2017 and shows the extended fence and the red area is where the bench used to be.

Liasing with the Wandsworth Borough Council, one local resident has learnt that this appeared to have been approved under planning application 2016/1814? Click on this paragraph to take you to the planning application.

Yet the bench was not considered to be part of this planning application and therefore further discussion would be required with the Highways Team.

Next stop, Highways Team?
